Act of Kindness

Filed under: Uncategorized — Mr. White @ 2:59 pm

One of the primary classes was visiting the longstanding, famous Book Fair that is going on in the school library and busy looking through all the Book Fair has to offer.  It was “crazy” busy in the library with students buying books. The line up was out the door!  One of our High School students was in line waiting to purchase a book and Mrs. Kentner asked her if she was busy for the rest of the lunch hour.  The High School student politely replied, “No, I don’t think so…”.  Mrs. Kentner asked if she would help take money and the reply was “SURE!”.  WOW!  The note I received from the teacher was: What awesome kids we have at our school!

Thanks to all who helped at the Book Fair.
Mrs. Sprott’s non-band class did an awesome job on the posters. They were colourful, accurate and attractive.
To Sarah Flam and Kara Kentner, thanks for the great job on decorations. Thanks also to Mackenzie Fraser for loaning her beautiful wall hanging of tigers; to Nolan and Laura Glover for loaning their stuffed snakes.
To the parent volunteers, thank you. It makes it so much easier to do the Book Fair when I have your co-operative help.
Thanks to the support of administration and staff for all the extras I seem to ask you for at this time.
Thanks to Scholastic Book Fair for the excellent choices of material for this sale.
Thanks to all who made purchases. This year was another banner year for sales. Because the Library benefits, our students also benefit.
A final thank you to my husband and to my best friend, Muriel, for going beyond the call of duty to help me out.
Do know I appreciate each and every effort and words of encouragement at this major Library event.
